Covering Wisconsin is a federally certified, state-licensed navigator agency based out of the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Our mission is to connect Wisconsin residents with health insurance coverage and other programs for health.

Answers questions for those receiving Medicaid including coverage billing and prior authorization. Also provides referrals to dentist/dental services who accept Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D information, and to report Medicare fraud.

The Medigap Helpline helps with decisions as to when to take Part D, how it coordinates with other coverage, etc.

A prescription program for Wisconsin residents age 65 or older. There are three levels of program participation, which are dependent on income.  The application is available on the website. For help with the process, contact the phone number below or your local ADRC office.

The Social Security program’s benefits include retirement income, disability income, Medicare and Medicaid, and death and survivorship benefits. Enrollment in Medicare Part A & Part B only.

The Well Badger Resource Center is a health information and referral service operated by the Wisconsin Women-s Health Foundation (WWHF), in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. Well Badger is the home of the Wisconsin MCH Hotlines, Wisconsin First Step, and Wisconsin Informed Consent Help Lines. It also provides Information & Referral (I&R) services to individuals, families, and health professionals throughout the state. It specializes in information and referrals for health care services and resources including WIC, BadgerCare Plus, Wisconsin Well Woman, services for children and youth with special health care needs, mental health services, and many more.
